hey, i am new to this great fan site for the great work of the Joss...
Even though i have made a few posts, i just thought maybe i should be a little more poliite and introduce myself.....
so hi everyone...it's me....you can call me Dave or you can call Ray...just don't call me late for.....sorry, old joke.
Been a fan for a long time - just now getting around to talking to others about the bds/bdm....i guess it's cause i live in a pretty isolated part of an isolated state in an isolated world.....ok maybe loner isn't the right term, but if i ever had the chance to head out to the black, i would not hesitate....

Hey, folks from Texas make good fighters!

Look around the board Dave,I think it's still here on the front page- there is a thread of addresses that we are all currently writing snail mail letters to, in the hope of making TPTB recognize that there is a sizeable fan base out here who want more.

There's always the need to recruit more folks by sharing Firefly and Serenity. Buying the BDM for gift giving is encouraged.

There has been some discussion of buying Serenity for the troops... Browncoats did that with Firefly when that DVD came out and it was successful.

Mostly though I've found just to take part here, and to spread the word to folks you know works wonders. I have been here since September... there have been a lot of new folks like you come along in the last couple of weeks. So something is working. You can't stop the signal.....

Shiny, so to speak. I'm still new around here, too, Davec5, but folks 'round here don't seem to mind us with a little green around the collar to help and welcome everyone just the same, and there's always room at the table for one more.

Welcome to the best little fanbase in the 'verse. There's been quite the influx of us lately, and that can't be anything but a good sign. Just remember to keep up hope, spread the word, and know that we'll all be holding the line together when Mal gets back.

I have introduced the Firefly/Serenity Verse to my niece who is college (Go Bobcats!) and she's had a few watching parties - she gets it. Pretty much cleaned out the local comix shop - have some unwrapped box sets looking for homes, have a few copies of the BDM that i loan out. Called the local library today to request either the series or movie or both, (got a maybe)... so i've tried to show my support with the allmighty dollar.... I also tend to go on and on about the show to anybody with ears....

How can this not be on the air??? if i hear of one more "reality" show i may pull out my version of Vera and blow that box away!!!

Actually, i prefer non-violent actions, but that Alliance (network television) is pure evil and needs to be put down.

Oh yes, he is definately a Browncoat. I see our lines swelling, and that makes me grin like a moonbrain.
