Cost of a Firefly episode?

Does anyone know how much an episode of FF cost to make? I'm putting together a letter to the various networks and I'd like to know, whether I include it or not is a different story.

Also, how many Browncoats do you think have been converted by the movie?

The average cost per episode have been estimated at 2 mil, but some were stated to have been upwards of 6 (set building...Pilot, The Message, War Stories, etc.) while others below 1 (mostly on board Serenity episodes...Out of Gas, etc.)

As for my conversion...while the BDM strengthened my Faith as a Browncoat, I can pinpoint my "turn" when I first heard the line, "You can't take the sky from me" from the Ballad of Serenity.

And now I am a Browncoat...forever.
