Foos? Fool, maybe.

I do.

I know at least 50 others that do as well.

I'm sure there's many many more.

Not my kind of hat, but if I had one I might wear it just to get someone to ask my why I'm wearing it. If I had the exact same hat I'd wear it out of principle.

I do not know about wearing it but I could knit one because I am learning. Well, I might wear it. If it was cold enough and it might be this weekend in Indiana.

Hell, I walk around in that hat in New York City where everyone is just so damn fashionable and too-cool for school. I walked around in my Jayne hat during Fashion Week with my browncoat (which, to be fair, I bought years before I ever heard of Firefly), clashing terribly and offending the models' delicate senses ;)

I've worn mine in public...and it wasn't at a con.

My sister made me one. I wear it all the time.

Plus, I knitted myself a scarf to match, so it's my everyday-winter-wear now.

Just need to find a good mitten pattern and I'll be set!

My Jayne hat was my favorite christmas present this year. I'd wear it more, but it's just not cold enough, this winter.

It is very toasty, too.

I've yet to get one outsider comment though.

This style of cap is based on a traditional South American hat called a Chullo, They used to be trendy a few years ago. I still see hippy - ski bums wearing them. I like the bright colors and complex pattern variations.

They are sold on Ebay for $10 US.

I very would.

Not only do I love fluffy hats, but I don't have many problems with wearing weird stuff (I do things like wear Star Wars shirts in public on Free Dress Days in school). So, yeah, add another tick to the tally: THIS foo would. Totally.

Could you please just make it stranger? Stranger. Odder. Could be weirder. More bizarre. How about uncanny?

I wear mine, though it is not all that warm because it is a single knit layer designed more for costuming (so I don't have a heat stroke during non-winter months).

When not in use, it sit proudly atop a styrofoam head (used for wigs) atop my desk because it is pretty cunning!

I sure would. It gets extremely cold in my city of Winnipeg in the winter (and extremely hot in summer), and I would wear the hat just so people have a reason to stare at me.

People think I'm kinda strange already, so I might as well give them a real reason.

Besides, just think of what Wash said about it when walking down the street.

"I aim to misbehave."
"Can't do something smart, do something right".

I'd wear one if the weather was fitting enough and to spread the word. Here in Ohio it gets fairly cold in the winter. I'd wear it around the house too or when i'm playing Serenity RPG.

Was given one, wore it at the premiere, told not to wear it at the premiere by people around me, took it to interesting places and then gave it to my love who wore it when I was in agony... so now it holds a certain melancholy air to me which is quite something for what is, after all, a comedy hat.
