Hi,

I do not have a TV at home. The only movies I watch I either go to a cinema or rent a DVD and watch on my notebook.

When I read at on of the blogs I follow about Serenity movie I was kind intrigued by the fact that the whole series cast was invited to make a movie. So I downloaded first episode of Firefly and watched it. Next day I ordereded the DVD with the whole set. Previously I never bought any series.

Now, when I know the story behind the series I'd like to say one thing to You all.

Thank You very much from the bottom of my heart for supporting the show, for making Serenity fly till the moment I have discovered it.

I realize that Firefly probably the only show where fandom was as important as the creators. That gives warm feeling of being part of it and not just a follower, passive TV - watcher. And I perfectly understand that it is now up for me too if Firefly will start again.

I believe we have a chance.

Thanks for the browncoat.

The Serenity ship hit me on the personal level. My dream always was to have a spaceship as a home... I started from Elite (if You remember such a game :), then Wing Commander, Privateers, Hard War, etc...

Nice to find the home finally.

Yarr, another one who be startin' by pirating the series.

Considering the frequency of folks who run out and buy the DVD set after watching it (even a little bit) on download, I'm not too concerned. Hell, I was a pirate too; then again, that was between cancellation and the DVD release when I got into it.

Speaking of which, I've dreamed of having my own ship, too, 'Cept the inspiration was the original Pirates! game. KF

Just wanted to say welcome, as well.

Also want to say to all, I buy DVD sets and BDM DVDs for my future converts (I know not everyone can afford to), because:

a) I get to keep mine (very important!)
b) I give them a guarentee, if they don't like it, I'll buy 'em BACK FROM THEM and give it to someone else (have yet to buy a set back

)
c) It helps instill that Browncoats are a giving lot, and the new recruit will understand that we all carry eachother when one of us can't crawl or walk. (And hopefully they'll be giving to other future 'Coats)
d) If nothing else, FREE stuff piques peoples' interest. (I'm a Swagmaster, so trust me on that! see the link for FREE games in my sig file)

Again, welcome to our new Browncoat, hopefully we'll all be family for many years.
