I went to Target last week to re-purchase my Firefly set (my in-laws took my first set). Purchased my set, brought it home, watched the first three DVDs, put in number 4 -- and the episodes from disc 3 came back up.

Double checked everything -- I have two disc 3s.

Grrr...

Anyone else having wierd things happen to their sets?

yeah, I had something similiar getting my box set from Best Buy. I had disks 2,3, and 4, but no disk one. Luckily I was able to take it right back and they got me a complete one. Hopefully the same luck would hold with you.

Does really suck, though... :(

I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL! SAME THING HAPPENED, mostly. Here: (sorry for my long-winded-ness, but is still angers me to this very day!)

Not only did Best Buy deliver it 3 days late...3 days after the last day they said it would be here...3 days of bitter, impatient, foot tapping waiting.

My fellow Browncoat friend had come over they day it arrived, she just has good timing I guess. So we stick in the first Disc, watch it all. By then it was about 9pm.

I go to sick in Disc 2, and it says Disc 3...so I pull out the next Disc, thinking mebe somehow they got switched, and I pull out another Disc 3. I was like "oh. my. god."

Followed by a very angry phone call to my local BestBuy.

We ended up watching Disc 3 (only once though

) and Disc 4 (the day after). And I exchanged the whole set for a new one the next day too. Triple checked that there were actually 4 different discs several times.

Then we finally understood all the references, to YoSafBrig, and all that, when we got to see the second one.

Perhaps whoever packaged ours really liked Disc 3...or their all inbred stacks of meat. I have yet to figure on that one.

YAY!

Always glad to save another soul from the evil pit of gloomy-ness. That thing is just too easy to fall in nowadays.

But at least we have our great weapon of Firefly to appease our cranky minds. Tests have proven it is better than coffee.

Which bears the question:
Did ya get your new set ok?
