Yea, we got a note from Rocket last night. Saw him just a couple of seconds ago *she proceeds to fill Pain in* **Now our next stop -- I asked the Cap'n -- is on New Hall, which isn't a problem, but after that we're shaping orbit for Persephone, which is altogether too close to the core to be carrying imprinted goods without a luxury tax receipt. Especially the way the Feds have cracked down since the Miranda riots. So--we have four days, five at most to run this haul through our metabolisms. Towards this goal, I recommend using some of that olive oil on those lovely tomatoes -- there's vinegar already on the shelf, I checked -- and I'll bake some sourdough tomorrow, so that we can do a vinegar-and-oil sop to go with that quarter-wheel of white cheddar. Alternatively, if someone could dummy up passible receipts for the load, we could take our time, and stretch this stuff out for weeks...** Oh, saw my note, eh? Good thing we have Sameertia aboard; seems the stash I brought in yesterday was just one crate out of a dozen--no way we'll get through it all before Persephone, and despite New Hall being a newly opened colony, there's a chance they'll be able to offer us a decent price--but with all the Feds you find in a new port, we'll need the paper. Did a little reading on the cortex last night--seems that NewHall (the gap between the words is optional) is kind of the Alliance's big success story for the border worlds; by accident no less. The terraforming process brought all sorts of rich ores close to the surface. Bad news for farming, they're barely sustaining, too much heavy metal in the soil, but they've got trading ignots up the kahoojis. So the first crate is ours, but the rest might just be a payday.** Slept well I hope?
