i DO aim to misbehave

In the effort to make the Firefly portrait series something other than reproductions of copyrighted production stills, I'd like to make use of screencaps to create artwork that reflects the characters', well, character.

With the help of Josh294, I was directed to a great resource for Inara, and I have gads of Serenity herself. I'd be glad to receive any information from those of you who have had opportunity to snoop around the Internet way more than me.
