ok so i'm fairly new here and i'm prepared to take as much of a lashing as possible for this but can someone please tell me what BDS and BDM mean? thank you

BDH - Big Damn Heroes
BDS - Big Damn Series
BDM - Big Damn Movie

The genesis of this is the episode Safe. Mal says: "What does that make us?" To which Zoe replies: "Big damn heroes sir!"

Edit: Whoops, just saw a second thread which already has been answered. Can someone explain how we keep getting dual threads?

Someone gets impatient and pushs the button again even though the server has already processed the request.

Or a bug in the browser that sends multiple requests.

Or the connection was lost after the request was processed so the user hits refresh which sends the request again.

The first is the most likely, the third being second most likely. I'd say that the second one is rather unlikely.

There are probably other reasons, but I'm rather tired at the moment. Gonna get some sleep now.
