Just wanted to remind folks that Serenity Saturdays at the Indian Valley Public Library (outside Philadelphia, PA) are up and running, and we're having a wonderful time. We have a great group of people, and of course, seeing Firefly on the big screen is a wonderful thing. It's amazing how many details you catch that you've missed before - no matter *how* many times you've watched these episodes! (and some of us have watched them countless times).

If you're in the general Philadelphia area, please join us. We'd love to see you! Details are at http://serenitysaturdays.blogspot.com/ or email dont.wanna.explode@gmail.com

My brother and I are planning to attend, and I'm especially happy at the prospect of seeing "Out of Gas" and "War Stories" on the big(ish) screen. The first week was fun - sorry we missed last week.

So how'd yesterday go? I ruttin' hate it when I have to work and can't make it... Would've loved to pull another Jayne (or perhaps Mal) when I walked in. These showings really have gotten to be a barrel of fun, I can't wait for the next round.

Sure hope to see y'all again on April 8!

I was just looking around the site quickly looking for dates and the like...Just wondering, I don't suppose they'd be one happening between june 30th and july 16th? Got some traveling planned during that time and it'd be nice not to have to spend the whole time without Firefly

At the moment there's nothing happening in the Philly area during that time, but if you shoot an E-mail to the link up above, the organisers will gladly keep you posted on what's happening.

Well that's about the shiniest thing i've heard all week.

Do people in California just not like Serenity or what? I haven't heard about any screenings down south in LA, or any up north in SF. (You'd at least expect SF to have them, just to be contrary.)

Anybody in SF know about Serenity screenings?
I'm in SB, so it doesn't really matter whether i go north or south for my work.

D'oh. Too bad I can't make it across the country!
April 8 is my B-day, would love to see Serenity on that day!
Try to convert an extra pink into a browncoast for me.
