Greetings All,

First, I want to thank all those who graciously donated money to help promote Firefly/Serenity via the 2005 Channel 10 Great TV Auction here in South East Wisconsin. Without your assistance, this effort would not have been possible.

I had promised to put something official-like together to recap the effort shortly after the auction concluded. So approximately 11 months later, here it is. My apologies for the delay.

Monetary Donations Received: 13 Donations Total from fellow Browncoats
Sum Total: $335.00

To simplify the math, I used the donated money for the sole purchase of Firefly DVDs and 'Finding Serenity' Books. All other items were donated by myself.

Items Purchased with Donated Money:
9 Firefly DVD Sets (@ $34.99 each)
3 Finding Serenity Books (@ $12.21 each)
Totalling: $351.54

Besides making up the $16.54 difference, I also donated:
9 Plastic Project Cases
5 Officially Licensed Adam Baldwin (X-Files: Knowle Rohrer) Autographed Trading Cards
8 Officially Licensed Gina Torres (Xena: Cleopatra) Autographed Trading Cards
1 Red Dwarf Series I DVD Set
8 Team Browncoat Caps

Here are the screen caps from the auction:
Small Version:
Large Version:

Note: The quality of the screen caps has more to do with my TV reception, recording technology, and screen capture equipment. The items looked a lot better on live TV than they do here.

For the most part, the promotion received for each donation was in line with what was expected. The auction did swap the description of a couple of items and showed the wrong item entirely for one of the items. I was a bit disappointed that they removed Item #12720 from the case; it also was meant to promote the: www.SerenityMovie.com URL on air.
From my records:
Item #12796 - Aired 2005 MAY 1 - Firefly Fan DVD Pack
Item #12799 - Aired 2005 MAY 2 - Firefly Fan DVD Pack
Item #12797 - Aired 2005 MAY 3 - Firefly Fan DVD Pack
Item #12795 - Aired 2005 MAY 3 - Firefly Fan DVD/Book Pack
Item #12798 - Aired 2005 MAY 4 - Firefly Fan DVD Pack
Item #12794 - Aired 2005 MAY 4 - Firefly Fan DVD/Book Pack
Item #12793 - Aired 2005 MAY 6 - Firefly Fan DVD/Book Pack
Item #12756 - Aired 2005 MAY 7 - Firefly Fan DVD Pack
Item #12720 - Aired 2005 MAY 7 - Firefly/Red Dwarf DVD Pack

Total money raised for SE WI PBS Station: $346.00

Thanks again,
-suinegagpf (Dave)
