MISBEHAVE

I dont know if anyone else has posted this (or will find it intersting) but...

"Saffron is a spice derived from the flower of the saffron crocus (Crocus sativus), a species of crocus in the family Iridaceae. [It is] often dried and used in cooking as a seasoning and colouring agent [and] has for decades been the world's most expensive spice by weight.
Saffron is characterised by a bitter taste and an iodoform- or hay-like fragrance; these are caused by the chemicals picrocrocin and safranal. It also contains a carotenoid dye, crocin, that gives food a rich golden-yellow hue. These traits make saffron a much-sought ingredient in many foods worldwide. Saffron also has medicinal applications.

Ancient Mediterranean peoples—including perfumers in Egypt, physicians in Gaza, townspeople in Rhodes, and the Greek hetaerae courtesans—used saffron in their perfumes, ointments, potpourris, mascaras, divine offerings, and medical treatments.

In late Hellenistic Egypt, Cleopatra used saffron in her baths so that lovemaking would be more pleasurable." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saffron

I'm sorry. I just find it so interesting to make connections...

FLORALBUNNY

...and essential to a proper bouillabaisse...

I think the name was most likely based on hair color, and the rest of the info, though illuminating, is just coincidental "gravy" for those who like to tease symbols out of their entertainment.
