I have just one thing to say (course, you'll need to have seen the film to understand it).

Mal: No grenades.

At last.
We can retire and give up
this life of crime.

I loved it. It reminded me of the older horror movies you know the cool ones, the kind they don't make anymore, ever.

Tremors.

A propos of nothing, have you devoured the Rottentomatoes reviews?

Strikingly similar themes to the critiques:

Gory;

Dead Funny;

Exciting;

Nathan is brilliant, and is going to be a Big Damn Star;

Recommended.

I don't think we were all watching the same movie, though I was waiting to hear, sure would be nice if we had some grenades, dontcha think? Will Nathan ever make a movie where things go according to the gorram plan?

I aim to misbehave!

I heard some scenes in 'Slither' are near vomit-inducing (for all the right reasons), any truth in this??

No, if you can stand a George Romero movie you can handle Slither. Course, I laugh at Romero movies, and have a cast iron stomach....

Really? Cast iron? Hmm... how would you feel about some ahem 'light' courier work???
I must warn you that its got a 50% mortality rate... good money to be made though, real good.

Anyone interested in buying/selling some 'people' parts? No police may apply. Sorry.

Oh! I really want to see it. I don't have any days off until next Thursday, but I might try and hit the theatre sometime this week, even if I'm half asleep. I'm sure Nathan will wake me up, lol!

HAHA! the grenade thing was awesome! My friend and I were laughing so hard about that. Gorramit Nathan, take the bloody grenade already, you know you're gonna need it!

SPOILERS

I did gag a bit when those slimy things went down the throats in the barn scene, but otherwise was OK and I usually don't like gory stuff.

I have to agree, when I saw the grenade in the arms locker all I could think of was Jayne wanting the grenades at the beginning of Serenity and I'll never think of "Every Woman in the World" or Mr. Pibb the same way ever again.

BTW does Nathan have a patent on belly wounds?

Nathan Appreciators: Slither contains a good shot of Nathan's long, sexy eyelashes. It may be the camera angle as he wakes up (see Out of Gas and Our Mrs. Reynolds too)from the car crash but they're the best I've ever seen.

I agree with the grenades scene. When I saw that one grenade and when he didn't initally bring it I was like NO GRENADES! and I thought to myself "man if somone says 'sure would be great if we had a grenade right about now' my life will be complete" The other thing that reminded me of FF/Serenity was when he was holding his stomach reminded me of out of gas and in the BDM when he says the line about Serenity being nestled in the low lands mainly 'cause he was holding his stomach at the time. And did anyone else notice how most of Nathan's funny lines had an F bomb in them? I enjoyed that I must admit lol. The two funniest characters were firefly alumni which again made me happy.

Ain't that just shiny?

How many Jaynes does it take to change a light bulb?

Two. One to try to put it in and another to find a bigger hammer.

See it again!

No actors were in the footage after the credits.

During the credits, the music is good and you feel like dancing in the back of the theater. And you are thinking about the movie, so it is a nice wait.

The cleaning crew stopped when the footage came on the screen. They didn't know it was there.
