Hi! I wanted to open a discussion about your favorite songs on the Firefly T.V soundtrack and the Serenity soundtrack! Sorry if someone has done this before!

My favorite songs on the T.V soundtrack as well as sound bits and cues in the show are: "Inara's suite", "the funeral" (from the message), "River tricks Early" from Objects in space ( I love the 'sad' fiddle in this piece) I also love the little bit when the alliance ship blows up the derelict, also like "Captain and ship" that beautiful melody in Out of Gas. I also love "Inside the Tam house" from Ariel and "River's Dance" from Safe and one that always makes me smile "Naked Mal" from Trash!
From the movie soundtrack, (which I haven't heard all of yet) I like "taking a ride" when they take the mule out with River to do the vault job. I also love the little bit when they are inside the station the bit of guitar that plays when River gives Zoe that look like "yeah!That one!" if you know what i'm talking about!

THEPISTONENGINE

I got through the first half of the Firefly soundtrack, realised exactly why I hate soundtracks, and sold it to a freind. To me, the music is meaningless without the scenes. There are a few exeptions (Gladiator, Braveheart, Last of the Mohicans).

SAVEWASH

Now I am learning about scary.

I like the "Firefly" soundtrack but I'm still trying to figure out which track goes with which episode. I guess I'm a little slow.

I like "The Funeral" from The Message, and I just love "Space Battle" from 'Serenity' (I can picture Wash's heroics every time I hear it--go, Wash!!).
