Hey all! What is up? Since it's release on DVD December 20th, 2005 Serenity has been very noticably (at least in my eyes) absent from Pay Per View and HBO and its sister networks, Cinemax and its sister networks, Showtime and its sister networks, and Encore and its sister networks. Hasn't shown up on any of it. Question is, what has anyone heard about Serenity's status on television? Are their any deals for it going on HBO or Cinemax, etc.? Just a concerned fan wanting to get the clouds lifted and see a clearer picture. Until next time I am out!

Perhaps they're waiting for the DVD sales to die down first. It's still at 35 on Amazon.com which is not bad considering that it is more than 3 months after it's US release.

I was please to see it get a good 30 day run on our cable company's pay-per-view. I had thought that was happening all over and one of the reason we had so many new people.

The movie was sold for cable and TV...there's a thread around here somewhere about it...

I've noticed Serenity is playing on the Independent channel last month; and this month both Firefly and Serenity are available On Demand on Comcast.

I looked through the old news items but nothing was apparent so I googled it. Short version of story at this site:
