Yes, I'm a new fan:p But, most likely unlike the majority of new fans, I'm not a fan because of seeing the movie. In fact, when I saw the previews of the movie...I wasnt that interested.

But last week a friend of mine gave me a dvd cd that he had put all the episodes of Firefly(which he had downloaded) on, and I sat down and gave them a watch. Well, from the violin at the beginning of the first episode(when Mal sees the Alliance ships putting an end to the battle of Serenity), I was hooked. I quickly watched the next 13 episodes, and then the DVD features.

What can I say? I loved the show. That being the case, I went right out and bought the movie, and loved it as well. But, having burned up all the firefly/serenity at my disposal, I decided to head to the fansite(which I heard about in the DVD commentary). So...here I am. I just wanted to say hi to all the people already here; I'm looking forward to reminiscing with you all:P

FollowMal usually hands out the virtual browncoats when she finds new signer-uppers but it's been a mite busy as we break 20,000.

I do strawberries and many other kinds of food, and others bring their specialties aboard. We have some mighty good cookie-bakers around. Stop by the galley and question the buffet. Scrambled eggs are gone but there'll be more in three minutes.
