Virtual Firefly returns with Season Two!

We're back today with a new look to www.stillflying.net, a forum, and two all-new episodes!

Our Season Two "two hour premiere event" is a pair of very different back-to-back episodes. We hope you'll enjoy "Lonely Places and "Nu Du Shen", which can be viewed at our www.stillflying.net. Both episodes contain art by fan favorite Michael Phillips (known on www.fireflyfans.net as mphillips). I'd like to extend a special thanks to Mister Phillips for giving us some great art, and also to our "unsung heroes" (the proofreaders and beta-readers--you know who you are).

If you have any comments or questions on our episodes or the new look for the site, feel free to e-mail directly to me (gwek@optonline.net), but we hope y'all will sign up for the forum and start using it to discuss the continuing adventures of the crew of Serenity!

For those of you who might be just joining us, our project is dedicated to continuing Firefly as if the show has never been cancelled. We've previously produced seven episodes to finish out Season One, and our goal for Season Two as if Joss Whedon had been able to tell the story of the movie over 22 episodes rather than 2 hours. We can't bring the show back, but we can show you...

Greetings, folks. An update on our project: We were hoping to have our third episode ready for you today, but, due to "real life" restrictions and problems for a few of our staff members, we've fallen a bit behind. Rest assured that our next three episodes are ALL being worked on furiously, and we should have at least one new episode for you by next week.

We can't promise you an episode every week, but our intention is to have our season finale roughly coincide with the one-year anniversary of the release of "Serenity." This means that you'll be getting 22 episodes in about 25 weeks.

I will post more news when I have some additional detail on our next few episodes. Meantime, head on over to www.stillflying.net and join the forum! Vote for your favorite episode so far!
