Hey i was really into the fanfic 'the price paid' and am pining for it currently. are you ever going to write more?

Rita,
Thanks for your interest. Yes, I do intend to finish the story but things have been very hectic here in San Diego. Although we were not evacuated we were packed to leave for a week and with the courts closed and kids off school, things got very busy. I am hoping to have more time soon. Also I think that the DVD will really inspire me. I am sorry for the wait but I don't want to just churn something out for the sake of saying its done. (Really I should never have published any of it until it was all finished but I was up past 50 pages and thought I should get some feed back. I'll know better next time!) Thanks again for reading and mea culpa!

Well here's some feedback for ya. You are a tremendous writer. I hope you're doing alright in san diego my brother has a house out there and a bakery which were fortunately untouched i hope you too were left unscathed

Fortunately, although we live in the east county area where much fire damage was done, the fires never got closer than about 4-5 miles away. The ash and smoke were a tremendous problem and we are still getting ash, from fires in wild lands which continue to burn east of here, whenever we get a Santa Ana wind. (wind blowing from the east out of the desert. This weekend was particularly heavy again.) Thanks for your understanding and I hope to be writing more soon.
