Any suggestions for those of us with next to no time and very little money? My husband and I already plan to buy a few copies of "Serenity", but with such long workdays and a craptastic computer, we feel like that's not quite enough.

Any suggestions?

Why not host a video night at your house and invite all your friends over to watch a few eps of the series?

-microwave popcorn- $2.50
-2 liters of soda-$3.00
-Getting Hubby to vacuum the carpet-(Well, no idea how much THAT will cost ya!)

NCBROWNCOAT

I'm out here on the Rim (mid- eastern NC, small town) with nary a Browncoat in sight. I've tried converting a few people but have only had middlin success and I'm looking for something to do besides buying Serenity again(4th copy)and donating it to the local library.

There is a university about 25 miles away but being middle aged and working all day I don't have any contact with the college crowd.

What can I do?

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Sneak to the University and flyer it all to hell. If there's a screening in your area, play that flyer. If not, just... advertise the movie I suppose. I'm planning on doing that, and I DO have contact with college crowds since that's my age group. Maybe some will attend the screening, maybe some will at least rent the movie. It's all publicity.
