I saw some ads for it earlier today which I love because they say "Serenity's Summer Glau".

For those of you who didn't see it last week, here's your chance! Be prepared for total tongue-in-cheek, B-movie stuff but I thought it was great fun!

Oh yeah, it's on the Sci Fi channel. Enjoy!

I saw it when it first aired. At first I thought the whole premise was kind of ridiculous( I mean, c'mon! A mammoth going crazy and butchering a town?), but it was actually pretty funny! It is definitely better than most B-movie material (havin' Summer in it didn't hurt either ). I'll have to watch it again now that it's on tonight. Thanks for the heads-up!

Just saw Mammoth, WOW ! Summer was good in it, yep Summer was really good in it, boy oh boy she was good in it. OK the movie was trying to hard to be like a "B" movie. The thing with really good "B" movies is that they don't have to try, they just are. It could be a number of reasons a "B" movie is a "B" movie like lack of budget,time, or crew. The only thing that makes it a classic "B" movie is that the movie tries its hardest to be an "A" movie despite its set backs. This was just like watching someone telling a joke and then telling you that you should be laughing because the joke that they are telling you is really funny. However Summer was the only shining grace in this film. I kept watching it and wishing for more Summer. Hollywood really needs to wake up and realize that there is a lot of talent there.

America loves a winner!


Caught it the 1st time, and watched a bit again tonight. I'd say Summer didn't do her career any favors w/ this piece of go se, but it's funny go se, so it's not too bad. Other actors who I'd not have thought would spend time even reading this script are in it, so I can't fault her too much. Just seeing her on screen again is good enough for me .

The wife & I watched it & just couldn't pry ourselves out from in front of the tv. "Mammoth" has to be one of the campiest, most MST3K worthy movies I have ever seen. We laughed & joked all the way through it.

Here's hoping there's a sequel.
