Australian DVD?

I need help- I'm trying to order the Australian DVD and I live in the U.S. Will the DVD work on our DVD players? Has anyone from the U.S. ordered it and gotten it to work right? Someone please help me:)
EDIT: I don't know if this matters but it's the special Serenity version in the collectible tin box.

Nope, it's different region coding. If you get a multiregion DVD player (or hack your own - it is possible) and a TV which supports PAL (most should) it will play.

The Australian DVD is well worth getting. The 2nd disc of DVD extras is shiny.

No problem playing on your computer, in all likelihood. In my case, it plays on my DVD player but doesn't sync up on my TV set. But no problem playing it on either my desktop or laptop.

Yeah, there are lots of programs that will enable you to play it on your computer (assuming it has a dvd drive!) if you're not willing to mess with your regular dvd player.
