Yep. Lovin' it. All good. I got my little bit of sky in more or less pristine form.

But where'd the intros go? Book's? Mal 1 & 2? The Buffy disks had all of thier's in front of the episodes ("Into every generation..."). I wasn't expecting "Previously on Firefly" but c'mon! I'm still (vaguely) hoping for them as an egg.

Also curiously missing - fade to suede, though talked about, is now gone. Hmmm.

And our lovely glowing Serenity closing out each episode is now Joss and Tim's credit. Was that a Fox thing? I haven't heard it mentioned yet. I like the credit, but I'm a completist. I want my bug.

My other complaint (and it's tiny) is not enough Summer, Ron(!!), Gina, Sean (!), and of course ADAM! I just took a Jaynestown commentary with Ben Edlund and Adam as a given. *sigh*

Now we sit and watch these over and over till the movie. Remember, Star Trek took 10 years. I wonder who Joss Whedon's Rick Berman will be?

Bill
"We all know I'm the funny one."
"You ain't all that funny."

No intros?? But those intros are great! Please somebody tell me they've been included on the DVDs somewhere?

If they haven't, I may just end up keeping my video collection...

Book: “A duel?”
Wash: “With swords?”
Simon: “The Captain's a good fighter, he must know how to handle a sword?”
Zoe: “I think he knows which end to hold.”

I know it. We watched some episodes at the Atlanta Shindig over the weekend.. and while I'm happy to have the extras, my VCDs aren't going anywhere. :)
