And the issue I got at Books-A-Million USA had a deck of X3 Reunion playing cards in the plastic wrap. I just opened them...I thought they were some sort of trading cards for Xmen 3. But its a regular deck of playing cards advertising a space combat game X3: reunion.

Added SFX funny captions to top post.

Books-A-Million skipped right over that month's issue. They went from January to April.??? Why???

Have you tried a Books-A-Million store yet?

FollowMal, you are gonna want that pic of Nathan on page 78.

Maladjusted clicked further and found out you can order this magazine online. I put it in top post.

The Wonder Woman script wasn't even finished when the article was written.

SFX Magazine March 2006. page 18
"But here's the rub Goners, a dream project Whedon's had bubbling away in his brain since the days of Buffy, might be headed to screen first.

"It's the story of a yong woman's journey that involves a great deal of horror and some heroics," was his description of the movie. And it already has a home in Hollywood.

"Universal's Mary Parent has it. She's been settng up and working on it knowing that I was finishing my draft of Wonder Woman. It really is going to be a case of, 'which draft is in better shape? Who is ready to pull the switch?' then I'll do whichever. "

Bix, your sig--technically still accurate.

Oh, I forgot to mention that part.

THERE IS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL TO SERENITY.

Not actually in the magazine...No news from Universal in the magazine about a sequal to Serenity.

But

THERE IS GOING TO BE A SEQUEL TO SERENITY.

We hold 'til Mal gets back.

Yeah, I ordered one at the end of April and it arrived within a couple of weeks. I've been wanting to share it with everyone for a while, but I wasn't sure how to post pictures here. I'm so glad someone finally mentioned it! The picture of Nathan is so funny. He's holding a water pistol-type thing, looking all scruffy and shrugging his shoulders like he's not sure why everyone thinks he's so hot. It's great.

Hey, I don't know if y'all have gotten your magazines yet- Mine took quite a while to come from the UK. But if you want to sneak a peak, you can check out the whole SFX article and pics here:

http://www.apocalypse-monthly.com/nathan/index.php

If you go to the gallery link on the left, then scroll down to magazines, you'll see it. I think it's still the top one. They just got it posted a little while ago, so I thought you all might want to take a look. Enjoy!
