Select to view spoiler:

go to disc four, special features. Have the selection icon over "Joss sings the Firefly theme" and select to the left. The icon will disappear and light up a flourish on the left-hand side of the screen... select enter, and enjoy a cunning performance.

You're very welcome... it took me a little while to find it too. I had a hint from Succatash that you had to click off the scene, and I found on a few sites I googled that the easter egg was grouped with the other special scenes. So it was just a matter of trial and error after that.

Also, if you punch in 6 on your DVD remote on that page, the Easter egg will pop up as well. (I had to go hunting online to find this one. For some reason no matter which direction I tried with the arrow keys, I couldn't find the egg.)

An easter egg is an extra, unlisted and uncredited bit of fun that the creators/producers/other people involved with production put on a DVD. Sometimes there's not anything, but in our case, were got lucky on the Firefly DVD...

Go to the chapter selections menu on the first disk. On the page for scenes 15-17, go down to the very bottom of the screen - there is text that says "new scene". Click for the new scene and much fun ensues...

We have the extended version, so I'm not sure if it's on the 2-disc or not. Also, I realized when I got home that I gave the wrong page in the menus for it to be found. Corrections spoilerized below:

Select to view spoiler:

On the first disc, in the "Scene Selections" menu, go to the last page of scenes. You should see "Council of Elrond" as the last scene on the disc. Press down one time and a ring will show up next to "New Scene". There's your egg...
