The guy who Jayne tried to cut a deal with in Ariel is the drunk at the bar in the hotel that Chloe is hanging out in. How cool is that? Too bad Chloe can't kill him as creepily as the blue hand guys did.

I wasn't even thinking that... I was distracted by the fact that he (the drunk fool) and the US Marshall (played by Kirk Acevedo) have both had long running characters on HBO's OZ...

also, we've talked alot about Joss's actors appearing on 24... Magistrate Higgins is played by the current president on 24...

Hey I too find it extremely fun to recognize actors from other tv shows or even movies.

Serenitys Mr. Universe is in a series currently. I've seen him although I don't watch the show.
And a really fun and cool thing was trying to get my youngest son to figure out who Mal(Nathan Fillion) was. He loved the movie "Saving Private Ryan" but never realized Nathan WAS private Ryan, only the other one.

Of course, he (David Krumholtz) was also the dorky AV/Shakesphere guy in 10 Things I Hate About You, and he is in the upcoming Tenacious D movie.

MWAHAHA Firefly people are infiltrating the TV universe!!

(Also in a previous Season of 24, where Elisha Cuthbert and Jack's wife are being held in a barn, the bad guy who Jack forces to let him into the camp is the main guy after Tracey, and the young man who helps Jack and family escape is the featured young man from Jaynestown!

Haha 24 should basically be called "Firefly: the Early years" because so many people from firefly have been in it. And then there are all the people from Joss shows, like D.B.Woodside(principal in Buffy Season 7, also John Palmer's brother in 24), Badger, and then Joss people in everything else on TV!
