No time but want to help make Serenity Day a success?

Hey Everyone! Want to get involved in the push for Serenity Day on June 23rd but have:

- Finals
- Hobbies
- Kids
- Spouses who act like kids
- A job
- A life beyond Firefly and Serenity (*gasp*)

Then have I got the gig for you! A job that will cost you as little as ten minutes of your time over the next two months and will help spread the Signal, thereby notifying Firefly Fans across the country and world that we are indeed mighty!

The Browncoat Signal Corps is run through volunteers who visit Yahoo! Groups, Facebook, MySpace etc. so that as many Flans as possible hear about events - if we'd been at Serenity, that call for Air Support would've gotten in a lot sooner! I will do what I can to help make Serenity Day a success. Has anyone thought of advertising at a video store? Something like a "Enter to Win a free copy of Serenity." That way it might peek people's interest and advertise the movie. Since we are already buying movies, the video store doesn't have to put up the money for them and the give away might attract more customers for the video store, which would be the incentive for the store to allow us to dispay posters and such leading up to June 23rd.

I would like to give a word of caution about donating to libraries. Libraries don't always put donations into circulation. Some of the donations are sold at book sales to raise money. Already happened once to me with the Firefly DVDs, they sold them instead of including the DVDs in the library inventory.
