I just happened to be visiting a "very popular" forum for One Tree Hill, and noted the moderator raving about nearly 5,000 forum members. Here's the quote:
"The largest OTH community on the web... our Forums. It has over 5,000 members and it keeps growing day by day."

This from Onetreehillfans.com, dealing with a show that just ended its third season.

By startling contrast, I know there are close to 21,000 members at this forum, and still growing rapidly, for a show that never even had a full season...YEARS ago.

Thought you'd all like to know what a massive movement is the Firefly fanbase, and how it stacks up.

If this is wrong, or old hat, forgive me, but I was impressed.
