Birthday Cards!

ok, here's the thing...

my boyfriend has just drawn me a super shiny card for my birthday (which is this thursday!! =D) (hense this: http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=10008) and i said i'd make him one for his that's firefly related and funny!

what do you think i should have? my first idea was drawin river on the front sayin "'day' is a vestigial mode of time measurement. based on solar cycles. not applicable." then on the inside sayin "i havn't got you anything." but toms more of a wash fan (like me) so was thinkin i could maybe link one of wash's ultra funny lines to birthdays... somehow. this is where i drew a blank.

got any ideas?!

Can't think of any b-day specific Wash lines,
but thought of a Wash line that's very sweet and couple-y and could be altered to:
...you with the having a birthday...
...me with the watching you have a birthday...

There must be more, (and probably not the one about "ritual sacrifice, lambie-toes") but it's getting late and my brain is missing.

PS I love the "Life" substitution for "Leaf" in the other card.
