Ok I'm not really sure but who do you guys think would win in a catfight. Inara or Saffron.There was a little action between the two in OMR but it didn't get down to the nitty-gritty clothes tearing and all

but I would think that companion training would include defence classes.

Kaylee is really a non-combative kinda girl and I wouldn't want to face River or Zoe in a boxing ring, Can you say "Million Dollar Baby"

Anyway IYO who would come out on top? not that it really matters as long as I have a ringside seat.

I think Saffron since she has a slight edge in size/weight dept.

I think she's got the controlled aggression ability going on.

Although Saffron does have way more experience -one should imagine- in fights.

I guess it might depend what they were fighting *for*...

As much as I'd like to see Inara kick the crap outta Saffron, I think that firey redhead would come out on top. Ya gotta think about the fight she put up against Mal in Trash and she held her own fairly well. It's really kinda hard to judge based on the fact that we've never REALLY seen Inara throw down, but based on visual evidence, I'm putting money on YoSafBrig or however the hell ya spell it.

Leaina, I agree. Although Saffron may have a slight advantage in one way. Inara may have the upper hand fighting for a certain man:wink

SerenitySeeker, yep I give the edge too Saf. After all companion training may include bouts with the clone of Bruce Lee, and Saffron could have the experience of combat with 200+ husbands. Ya never know

But, seeing how chicks don't do it for me, I'd have to go with Inara. It's great that Saffron can kick somebody in the head, but Inara held her own for more than two seconds against the Operative. She also has the righteous rage of "Bitch tried to seduce and murder my man". I think she'd mop the floor with YoSafBridge.

Or, maybe being the intelligence woman that she is, she would figure out a way to make Saffron think she was going to show up for the fight and then send in Zoe. I'd like to see the both of 'em trounce the little troublemaker.

Didn't Inara say Saffron had had training? Plus she's got a little more muscle, and fights more often than Inara. If it was a catfight it might be a toss-up, but if it was a real fight I think Saffron would just kick Inara in the head and it would be done. Sorry, no clothes tearing
