You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

Are you talkin 'bout being a mistress here? Cuz that would suck. Are you talking 'bout actually almost becoming someone's second wife and being jilted? Cuz that would suck too. Haven't had either happen to me, but I can just imagine how much it would suck; it always sucks not to feel like someone you love actually cares about you.

I'm an expert in that, not really surprising though.

More insane ramblings by the people who brought you beeeer milkshakes!
And as you know, these are open forums, you're able to come and listen to what I have to say.

There's a simple rule for this copilot:

First the worst, second the best.
Third the one with the hairy chest.

Good luck with your hangover.

THESOMNAMBULIST

Hello Copilot.

I'm not entirely sure of what your circumstances are but I can certainly sympathise with you. It does suck when you're rejected by someone you care for.

It is an unfathomable ache too. It has no point, or edge or definitive boundary and it's not even pain as such. But it hurts nonetheless and your focus is off and you find yourself in a strange limbo of self pity, anger, rejection and confussion.

Thing with all this kind of stuff is to try and remove yourself from it all. I know that's easier said than done, but it's amazing just how much of this is in the mind. You have to build up a solitary defiance to it. Not for ever, just long enough to recoupe, long enough to let your emotional mojo come back to you.

Like I say I don't know of your circumstances, but if the person who rejected you (if that is the case) has moved on then... let them move on. It's the greatest power you have. Move on also and ascend above it all, above all the pettiness, all the gameplay and the second guessing.

It's beneath you - so move up and find a worthy friend elsewhere.

All the best
The

ZOID

copilot:

I'm a male and twice married. The first one was a horror show. I was much wiser (and, let's face facts, much luckier) the second time around. We've been married for seventeen years and I couldn't love her more.

Maybe you should think twice about your choice of guys. If he compares you to wife number #1: a.) Why did he get rid of/get the boot from wife uno? b.) He's a total asshole (see question a.).

So, stop dating assholes. 'But he's handsome/rich/funny/smart': it doesn't matter. Just resist the urge to get involved with men that you know are self-absorbed, unsympathetic, and are going to eventually get around to ripping your heart out.

The same advice applies for men. Don't fall for someone that you know in your heart is incapable of loving anyone but themselves...

Respectfully,

zoid

P.S.
...And if you're thinking, 'Yeah, but I don't know any men/women like that', look again. They're everywhere. You've just got gunk on your input filters. The 'good ones' haven't all been taken, they just don't stand out in a crowd as much as those who lead with their genitals...

Well in the case of the "She who looks like Chyna" not sure about the hairy chest, but her "equipment" might be larger than his.
