ARCBEATLE

I was having too much time on my hands today, and started thinking about how the Blue Hand Men Kill people... Then it occured to me, why DONT their little rod things kill themselves? From every thing that makes FireFly holy, they cant be aliens that arnt affected by the rods, their just normal, if morbid and creepsifying, people. So how dont they die? There is only one odd thing about them. They wear Blue Gloves. They ALWAYS wear blue gloves. Then I remembered a certain movie with people who always wear black sunglasses for a reason... MIB. In Men In Black The MIB always wear their glasses becouse they must be able to wipe peoples memories at a moments notice, wipeing memories is important to keeping their secrets, its their form of damage control, a quick and portable method of destroying evedence without leaving a trace of their existance. With the Blue hand men, its less subtle, but the same effect. The rod kills someone every time, leaves no messy bullets, no trace they were there. It also lets them get rid of people who have heard too much for their own good so too speak, the same purpose as the MIB neuralizer. So now we must assume that the gloves have some sort of special treatment to prevent the Blue hand men form dieing (annother MIB paralel, their sunglases have a special coating). Now from the little we know, the rods kill by making you bleed from all your orifaces, but how does it cause this? now look at what the gloves cover, Not in essence the hands, but the nerves in the hand. The hand has the most responsive nerves in the body, other than, well. If the Blue sun has been doing extensive brain research, as we found in ariel, then they may have found some thing that triggers a nerve reaction fromt he hands to the brain that would couse the body to expell its own blood... So is my theory. One last thought, the gloves serve on last, simple purpose. In MIB its members have their fingerprints burned off to prevent them being recognised, but in reality this wouldnt work as it would cause you too not be able to grip any thing. So the gloves again prevent you from leaving skin oil, or finger prints.

Just my 0.17$

Maybe it's that the Alliance members (as seen in Ariel) have something implanted in them, that isn't implanted in the Blue Hands, and the little device senses that and only triggers it in that body.

Kinda out there, but that's what I think.

Or the Blue hands have a implant, the rod wouldnt really be that usefull if they could only kill alliance men.

Or maybe, just thought of this, they had a peice of their brain lobotimized that the rod affects? River might have had it too, and so she is in no danger of being killed in case one of the blue hand agents got sloppy?

just annother thought

Doesn't matter if it's good or bad. It makes sense, at least, which is more than I can do at times. (You have no idea how random I can be. Well, I'm not ramdom per se, but I don't tell how I got to the thought, so it seems that way.)

Merry Christmas! Keep flyin'!
