Don't know if anyone has mentioned this but the 'Radio Times' (the big TV listings magazine in the UK) has Serenity featured as one of the films of the week. It gets mentioned three times (with three photos), saying
1. "Cracking performances from a largely unknown cast helped make Serenity a suprise hit last year"
2. "The cult TC sci-fi adventure Firefly gets a big screen outing with this old-fashioned space opera"
3. "Viewers of Jonathon Ross's Film 2005 voted this their favourite movie of the year - with great battle sequences and a rollercoaster plot it's easy to see why Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon spins a captivating sci-fi tale set 500 years into the future, about the crew of spaceship Serenity"
And they give it four stars. Maybe a few more people will find their way into the 'verse this week in the UK!

That four star rating was a disgrace. An easy five.

I doubt the critic ever saw it, and cobbled something out of clippings (I mean, look at the woman's ludicrous fringe. A warning if I ever saw one...)

"Old-fashioned" my arse. "Innovative" surely* , what with it actually having a decent plot, script, direction and acting.

Yup its this week 27th May - 2 June. I think it premiered on sky box office this week.

I've not checked about it being on Ske Box Office. Shiny if that's true. More money and more exposure, could equal Serenity 2.
