A few weeks ago the Firefly DVD set had a Amazon.com sales ranking of 29 and now it has a ranking of 11. Oh My God!!! This is fantastic news!

It is also interesting to note that none of the DVDs above it have the 5 star rating that Firefly has.

Yeah, number one for a quick bit was fun, but pushing into the top ten with steady sales is far more impressive, especially for a cancelled TV series - half of one at that. I hope the foxfools suck on this long and hard.

Since debuting Dec. 9, FF started reasonably well, although I don't remember exactly at which sales number it appeared. Within 10 days it was into the teens, according to previous FFF posts. It has since been closing in on the top 10. I see now, according to a later poster, it has hit it. It's been showing a kind of inevitability of purpose, at the expense of some heavy film and TV hitters. It's also quite possible that people not finding it at Target and Best Buy, are turning to Amazon, which must have ordered enough to fill a few Serenities.

It's all good. And shiny!
