I am creating a flame-free SHINY thread to say thanks to people, give kudos for creativity and generally acknowledge the shininess of the us.

So I admonish, please, if you have nothing to say that is nice, say nothing at all!

I will go first -

I want to thank River6213 for all the enjoyment of her Rampage. I know she was feeling low, and that she needed to vent a little, and I also know that she was having some good fun and so did I. I claim the title of "she who was killed most!" I think! Anyway, I hope you are feeling better! It was really funny and diverting the way you attacked from different threads. Much more exciting than my sad streaking!

I bestow upon you 2 Llamas for a prize! (Mostly because we can't get rid of them)

1. Making newbies like myself feel welcome.
2. Coming up with really shiny ideas like the Can't Stop the Serenity charity screenings, the Serenity Day DVD purchasing event, and the like. I personally am thrilled about out how things are going with these events.
3. Working out differences related to #2 such that our collective, mutual agendas are advanced.

Thanks to all the Browncoats for making me feel welcome, for allowing me to play, and allowing me somewhere to share my love for the 'verse (among other things).
Yes, this place is sometimes like a gigantic, dysfunctional family, but that is what makes it so interesting. If there were not the occasional head-butting, we would not be able to make up, and realize how much we all have in common.

You all mean something to me, and even though I have not met any of you IRL, I feel like you are family.

Before I clicked on this thread link I knew who posted this... thanx FMF... U and few others keep the interesting posts coming and just have the shiniest attitude...

I can say of all the people listed so far I can think of only one that I didn’t recognize. I have read many of your posts and you do feel like a family... that’s how I knew FMF started this thread.

Besides work related sites, I am a part of no other forum… And still would not be if it weren’t for this one… I work in the IT field and had no desire to do anything extra on a computer when I got home or away from work. Then I found Firefly. Firefly is a great show but the Folk here make me come back.

Big thanks to all…. And let’s keep it shiny.

There's too much to say, but I'll try my best.

Copilot-Yes, the box is a tight fit, but I'll survive. Big shoutout to you for being the only one willing to do the stuntman in here and possibly IRL (keep fingers crossed--I should know soonish).

EmmaRigby--One of my majors is bio and I've done lots of Ecology. Of course I'm gonna love listening to what you do. And reminding you to do it. Speaking of which, well you know.

Persephone736, Sigmanunki, and all the others in the Firefly fit club. We're getting in shape and dammit! we're awesome. Mom commented to me today about how she can tell I've been working out and blah blah blah, so thanks everyone for keeping me focused.
