Great News!!

The manager at Laemmle One Colorado has decided to give us a bigger theater. So that means you still have a chance to attend the Los Angeles screening. All the information you need can be found at

http://www.socalbrowncoats.com

We are no longer sold out, but now we can sell out again! Don’t miss your second chance. There are now 98 more seats to fill, get yours soon!

Thanks!

This is great news!

A bigger theatre means more money can be generated for Equality Now, PLUS it's a strong sign of the continuing fan support of Serenity.

Good all around.

Exactly. We'll be able to more than double our donation if we sell out again. The theater is not charging us an additional fee for the upgrade!

Also, the first sellout was only on the power of Browncoats alone. We hadn't even gotten to putting fliers up in Pasadena or anything like that.

Now we are working on contacting media and getting prize donations from local businesses. Any chance you have a small something you can donate???

That is so cool that they upgraded to a bigger theater!

And just remember, folks, this money is going to charity and is tax deductable. So buy your tickets now!

Are you looking for donations of Serenity / Firefly merchandise only?

Have you tried Universal or even Fox? Never know, you get the right person at the company and they may bend over backward to help you.

Pretty much anything would be nice. We plan to head down to Pasadena and see if any local businesses want to donate gift certificates or other items. And I have contacted Uni, but they have nothing Serenity related left except maybe some buttons or keychains. And I already have plenty of those to hand out.

We'll see what else we can come up with before the screening.

Thanks!

Will you take used Browncoats? If so, I'll start looking for some to have as Raffle prizes or door porizes or whatever. I know of no true Browncoat who was Browncoatless who would turn down a 'coat, especially if it fit. And was of a suitably "brownish" color of course...

My friends, this is incredible. Since announcing we have more seats and putting tickets back on sale, we've sold nearly 40 more tickets in the last DAY. That puts us even closer to selling out AGAIN. I am overwhelmed and proud of this show of support...it almost makes me teary eyed.

So the message remains, if you want your tickets, head over to our site and get them now while you still can, before we well out one more time. :) If you've already purchased tickets, then I thank you for your support.

I got one friend to buy a ticket this morning and am still working on others :)

Hey guys, how is y'all? I just wanted to let you know that I got a nice, big box from the Prop Store of London today, and what did I find inside?

A large reaver weapon. According to this page on the site:

http://www.propstore.com/list/cat_id/2/pos//num_display/10/view/0/ob/i
tm/movs/877

If you'll scroll down, you'll see Item Number 08422, called the "Hero Wood Handle Reaver Weapon."

This is one of our prizes for the Serenity screening, my friends, a rather large Reaver weapon valued at around $350.

I'm looking at it right now, and it's pretty impressive, even when covered in bubble-wrap. Want a chance to win this amazing looking prop?

All you'll need to do is purchase more raffle tickets for the screening on June 23rd. The more tickets you buy, the better your chances to win this amazing and generous gift from the Prop Store of London.

You can either donate through Paypal on the site ( http://www.socalbrowncoats.com), or with cash on the night of the screening. Each raffle ticket is $1, and all proceeds will go to Equality Now.

Thanks for your time, and I can't wait to see y'all next week at the screening.

Not sure if it was announced here on FFF, but the Los Angeles screening has been moved to the largest theater available. We are again selling tickets on our site.

Since announcing the larger theater Friday we have sold over 30 tickets. This means over 1/4 of the available tickets are already gone, and less than 80 remain.

We might end up with a few tickets left for walk-ups the night of the screening, but if you have the ability, please buy your tickets in advance to make sure you can attend.

Thanks

Hey folks, I am so excited about tomorrow I can't believe it. As of RIGHT NOW, we have 32 tickets LEFT for the screening, so with your help, we'll sell out AGAIN. Online ticket sales will be closed tonight around 9 PM, so if you're sure you want to go, get your tickets NOW.

Also, here are some final details for the screening.

8:00 PM - We're going to set up our will-call table at the theater on the upper level. At this table you can get your tickets at will-call, purchase any tickets we have left (if any), and make further donations to equality now.

9:30 PM - This is when we'll finally be able to let people into the theater after they clean it out from the previous show, so make sure you get there early.

~9:50 PM - We begin the thank you drawing, so PLEASE be sure to be there and in your seats before this time.

10:15 PM at the latest - Serenity begins. :)

~12:15 PM - Wrap up after the movie with closing announcements and thank you's.

That should do it for now. Please let me know if you have any questions as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone who has helped make this such a tremendous event. See you all tomorrow night...wait...it IS tomorrow night! AAAHHH
