It looks like that the Firefly box set is about to climb into the top ten on Amazon's DVD sales on their website.

Seeing how that the sales of the Family Guy box sets has brought about the possible return of that show, we can only hope that the same happens here.

Howdy,

What's really interesting is that for a good period last night and today, Firefly was listed at Amazon as available for shipping within 9 to 10 days -- not the usual 24 hours. Possibly because Amazon needed to order more? Then the listing reverted to 24 hours, and just a short time ago, with the sales ranking rising from 16 to 12, it was back to the 9 to 10 days delay. Unless Amazon is going wonky, this strikes me as a good sign. Possibly.

Another, perhaps more definite good sign: CNBC's tv segment "Closing Bell" today mentioned how successful the Firefly DVD sales have been within a larger story of successful DVD releases of tv shows.....I didn't see this but read several gleeful postings about this segment (which featured some clips from Firefly!!!!) in various places. Yippee!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

It is at # 11 right now. Would be shiny to see it break into the top 10.
