I was wondering if anyone knew some good Firefly RPGs. I've visited two, but one was inactive and the other shutting down.

Maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

You could always get a group together and buy the Serenity RPG. I'm currently running a serenity game and it's pretty fun. As for online rpgs those I really don't know anything, cuz I find them quite boring next to the kind of rpg where you sit at a table and roll dice :)

Well, I know I am involved in a pretty damn active board right now(three ships, all posting pretty much daily)it is at www.bigdamnverse.net

I don't know haw many openings for characters are left though,and you might want to read a few of the posts to decide if you are up to the calibur of the site, but it is great fun.

Grimmjack just pointed me to the BigDamnVerse this week. I'm still figuring out exactly where I'd fit in over there, but looks like fun!

(And if nothing else, read up on the current Serenity story-line! Jayne's line from last night STILL has me cracking up!)

And if you're too intimidated by the BDV, you might try playing in one of the less structured chain-story RPG's around here, there are four or five going at the moment and they all have different points of interest.
