. . . And that big crowd over there is the 24-hour candlelight vigil for Firefly, recently exhumed and embalmed, Lenin-like, in a damn fine DVD collection . . .

Thanks for posting that. And don't forget:

Give Fox the credit it deserves. Whereas Firefly was shot full of the wrong meds and then hastily smothered with a pillow, Arrested Development is enjoying world-class life support by comparison. It has a plum time slot behind Malcolm In The Middle, a prominent spot on the Fox Web site, and plenty of on-air promotion. All it needs is a bigger audience.

I wonder if people don't want to watch Fox's good shows anymore simply because they know that soon as they bite the hook, FOX will pull the show leaving them hanging like a fish metaphor that does'nt swim.

That's me. I won't punish new shows for Fox's past mistakes. But I just don't think any show is going to stick around. Though, I'm not a Nielsen family so I don't count anyway.

Like I said in an earlier post, I havent watched Fox since they cancelled Firefly- I refuse, whether it's a good show or not, on principle- I've heard some good things about that Arrested Development show though, so I feel sorry for its fans when Fox pulls it and replaces it with the reality show of the week, Big Mole Island or whatever they call it (who knows, they're all the same)

He looked bigger when I couldn't see him.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Personally I don't watch Fox anymore. I used to watch it only for That 70s Show but I gave up on it too as the writing just seems to be going downhill.

Thanks for posting the link. Good to see Firefly keeps appearing in print.
