Greetings everyone. I'm new here as you can see. I trust that the movement still continues. In watching Firefly and Serenity I have gotten inspired to write short stories of my own. It is based off Firefly yes, but the characters and the adventures are different. I was curious as Firefly fans, would you read them if they were put into a book? Tell me what you think. Be totally honest too, if you wouldnt want to read them I understand.

I would love to read some stories that would fill in the huge gap between the last episode and the movie. There is so much more that could have happened before the story became so serious and such a grand scale as the movie. Who knows.... with stations like FX airing pilots from youtube.com submissions, maybe some ideas from fan submissions would make it in the TV show if it ever gets picked up again. I don't know though. I'm not going to pretend to know how much creative control Joss has over his projects. It sounds like a good idea anyways. I would read them. Go for it.

Actually it's more of my own universe but Firefly gave me the inspiration to write them. Its not a spinoff of Firefly. The show gave me the idea.
