The Browncoat Ball. THE social event of the season. Three days of fun and frivolity with a few hundred of your fellow Browncoats. Two evenings of dinner and dancing, a boat tour of the San Francisco bay, and an afternoon romp through Chinatown. And now is your chance to make sure you're one of the lucky attendees.

When: 22-24 September 2006
Where: San Francisco, California
How Much: $150 per ticket
Details: http://www.browncoatball.com/

Pre-registration sales started two days ago, and 30% of the tickets have already sold. So act quickly while tickets are still available. Soon, you won't be able to buy a ticket with a diamond the size of a testicle. Get a hold of yours now! (The tickets, I mean.)

Man would I love to go. Cali is a really far trip for me though... not that it would be impossible. I think I heard there was one in Chicago, maybe last year. That's where I'm from. Dammit! I just started watching Firefly 2 weeks ago.

If I don't make it, I hope ya'all have fun.

Yes, the original Browncoat Ball was in Chicago in 2004. A few of us from California flew out for it and had an incredible time. This year's ball is being held in San Francisco, with the blessings og the Chicagoland Browncoats. If all goes well, it will be an annual event, held in a different city each year.

Times like these I hate being Canadian.

Pain or Ertia: If either of you go, make sure you give everybody my best!

Stupid Canadian isolation...

I hope it does become an annual event. I look forward to it comming closer to my home or when I can really afford to go out as far as California or New York. Have fun. You'll have to let us know about it.

Wow, that is amazing! I never knew the Browncoat community was thriving so much. Man, I wish I could make it to California, but I do not think my parents would let me nor do I have the money for a bus/plane ticket. Sorry folks, maybe next the next time around I could make it...
