Ah, yes. July 4th. The most quintesentially American holiday. A day dedicated to drinking beer, barbecue, and blowing things up. Preferably things not a part of our own bodies. So crack a cold one, throw some beef on the hibachi, cue up the Sousa, and don't throw those black cats at your baby brother America. For today we party.

The caterers just showed up in the nick of time! Don't these guys and gals have lives? Lucky for me! No matter. I can now feed this army of people over here. I haven’t had so many people over here in about 7 years. There are a million kids over here!!! What do the people do in this neighborhood…breed? Sheeesh! Oh, well! It’s getting dark and my home is in a perfect spot for the major fireworks display. I guess that’s why they are here.

Too late for the Stone Soup scenario. Too many people over here. I think word spread that I was being sociable, and I think all the adults wanted a see at the silent one, but they brought their kids with them! Oh well. Life I guess...something I can't control.

Last count there are 62 adults, and the kids range from 6 to 19 or 20 years of age. But now there's enough food to feed them all so I won't lose face. I guess its all about keeping flying. I wanna get drunk but I can’t because the whole world showed up!!!!!!
