I have a suggestion that I wanted to bounce off of the community. What if we send mail to Universeral with questions that already assume the movie has its green light?

E.G.

"I am a huge fan of Firefly and just heard that there was a movie being made from it. I was hoping you could send me some information about it. Will the cast be the same? Is Joss Whedon directing?"

-or-

"I can't wait for the release of the Firefly movie. Has the release date been set? I think it would really do well during . Are there any movies the teaser trailer is attached to? When will T-shirts be available?"

Any thoughts or comments? I thought this tactic might make us sound less like rabid fans or more like a marketable demographic.

I do like this tack; less a matter of pleading for what might not be (rabid, fannish, few voices in the cash-dry wilderness) than giving a big HUZZAH for what will be (peeps from the product-purchasing populace). I like how it sets the frame.

But I'm just a shrink (with a few 'Milks' in me, no less!); what do I know...
