This is incredibly sad, but apparently true.

For those of you who don't know, Lux was the Canadian fan who did all the South Park Firefly cartoons. He had dinner with Adam Baldwin and Alan Tudyk last spring and was generous enough to share the experience with all the fans online.

He'll be sorely missed.

Followed your link to Lux's website. How funny! It seems that he will be missed. Even printed out (most of) the Browncoat's Manual. Thanks for the news...

The news about Lux's death is so shocking and upsetting. He was such an enthusiastic and creative person. Too damn young too...

Pip the Intrepid from the O.B. sent me a wonderful and fitting tribute to Lux. This was created by Eric and I want to share it.

I always thought of Lux as the biggest of the big name fans. Friend of Adam and Alan, everything, and so generous. He was a one and only.

He absolutely loved that scene. We had talked about redoing that gag ourselves and he wanted to take Nathan's place but he wanted many t-shirts on and then he would remove one each time he was seen...he thought it would be really funny. I really wish we'd actually done that.

Sadly, I didn't know him, being fairly new to the boards, but from everything I've read by others, and things Lux wrote himself, I can confidently say that he was greatly loved and will be sorely missed by all. I wish his spirit all the peace and joy he deserves.

Rest in peace, LL. :-(

Hey Lux:
Your handy work was hanging in the make-up trailer this morning!
Joss and I were whooping it up on set with the Jayne cartoon,

Keep it up, we love it!

I never got to know Lux, but I know he was one of our finest. Few fandoms get to have such prolific and creative contributors. He was truly one of a kind.

Wow :( I can't believe he's gone. I did not know him personally but I loved his stuff. Why is it always the good ones that have to go early. Sometimes life just stinks...

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Lux will be missed just doesn't convey the loss the community has suffered.

I remember Lux sending me a private email when I joined the official board. It struck me as a very friendly gesture and made me feel welcome and started that feeling of extended family I get from the boards.

Keep flyin' Lux.
