Help with New Banner Ideas for Summer Campaign

Hey all, as part of the Summer of Serenity Campaign we are trying to create new banners that will be eye-catching and get people to click on them so as to be directed here. So, please post new ideas, review ones already posted!

For me at least, I believe the banners should be focused on people who have never heard of Firefly/Serenity before. For that reason, I have not used quotes nor included pictures of characters. I know we love our heroes, but I dont think they are going to help us in getting new converts.

On these, I dont have the skill to actualy make them, but I can come up with ideas and words. So, if anybody wants to run with these and make them, Id love it. Also, Id love feedback on the ideas.

1. "Cows in a Spaceship?" (Show a picture of the scene where the cows are in Serenity).

- THis one might be lacking a little in understandability, but its strength is its oddness. Might get people to think.

2. "Grass Roots organinzing - not always political. We aim to find Serenity"

- I like this because the words "Grass roots" will resonate with many people. Also shows we arent a large company.

3. "Serenity: We love it, you will to"
- Picture of the ship

4. "25,000 fans (or whatever we can estimate) want you to come home and find Serenity."

- Sort of makes you feel all warm inside. Now all we need of Followmal with some brown coats for all the newbies.

5. "Serenity: a love story of a ship, 9 people, and 25,000 fans - join the family."
- Any moving picture would work...

6. "Have you ever seen a advertisement paid by fans before? We hadnt either - until now. Come find Serenity."
- I dont know the picture, but this is my favorite so far.

7. "Ready for more than reality TV? Join 25,000 others and find Serenity"
- Not sure on the picture.

8. "We are fans, we love our show, and we want to share it with you - come find Serenity."
- I like this one also. MAybe another pic of the ship?

Here is an idea from Ormaybemidgets:

We could do something like... BDM.com We know what it means, but other people don't. So if we decide to use movie pics, it could be "Be Dangerously Mad," with the shot of River's face from the side when the Alliance busts in at the end. Or, if we choose not to use the movie, "Blind, Deaf, Mad" with those monkeys, one covers its eyes, the other its ears, the other is... mad.

'Cause sometimes you have to go out in the black.

You get the drift, use famous lines from the show and film with tiny pieces of the video.
These can be done with simple screen shots, photoshop out the background so its just black with white lettering.

Jtskier1200r...your ideas are amazing.. that is just the approach we need.. something off kilter, beyond what we've thought of before.
