Hey - I just have to say that I am somewhat of a new fan of Firefly (via my brother) I just finished the series and find myself showing physical signs of slight depression about not being able to view more. Can a TV show produce aching of the heart? The question although a little out there, has been a little relevant in my case. I am not a person that watches much TV - nor do I really encourage getting mentally stuck into a different sense of reality. BUT - this series was the rare case of intelligent and VERY entertaining TV. It saddens me that not enough of the US public did not get a chance to recognize or grab hold of this great series. Thank you to all of you that support and keep up this website and for all the efforts to make someone in Hollywood wake up and realize that this series is worth taking up again! Along that line - does someone know if there are any talks of it coming back?

Hello and welcome, AOcorp.

No news yet on any further production of Firefly or a sequel to Serenity (you do know about the Big Damn Movie, right?). Right now we're just holding the line and spreading the word to others.

As for the rest of your comments, well, we're all right there with you. I don't think you'll find a one of us here who hasn't been moved by this series far more than just about any other mere TV show.

For what it's worth, you'll find a wealth of good things here on FFF.net, starting with sympathetic fellow fans -- but beyond that, great fan fiction and artwork in the Blue Sun Room, lots of interesting discussions about aspects of the 'verse you may not have thought of, an unproduced script called "Dead or Alive", and the River Tam Sessions (viral marketing for the movie).

So please, hang around, tell us your story of finding the 'verse, and jump right in to any discussion you find interesting.

Welcome to our corner of the 'Verse AOcorp. Your symptoms are very familiar to all of us here, so you're amongst friends.

As far as more, I can direct you to...A graphic novel called 'Serenity: Those Left Behind' and the Big D@mn Movie, "Serenity.'

The only thing we know of anything further is more comics in the works from Dark Horse (scripted by Joss.)

We are in the midst of the 'Summer of Serenity' campaign, which is to say we're trying to (a) let Universal know we're here, we appreciate them doing the movie, (b) we'd like more, please and (c) trying to convert lots more folks to the cause (like you brother just did

To combat the depression? Watch the eps over and over, and come here and talk.

thread title) she'll fit you with a shiny
virtual browncoat.

More Big Damn Heroes? Who knows.
We got our Serenity film, but it didn't blow
out bigtime at the box office, so for now the
film/TV stuff is in abeyance.

There are graphic novels and all sorts of other
shiny things available, even crazy fanvids, so
you can get a bit of a fix here and there.

We're hoping to convert enough new fans that we
can get another film, a mini-series, something,
anything SereniFly-ish to go on with, so your
next assignment is to spread the word among the
un-knowing masses. Enough interest, and maybe there will be talk of it coming back *for real* instead of merely wishful.
