Future Shop just dropped the price of Firefly - The Complete Series (Widescreen) DVD down to a mere $19.99 CAD! I finally picked it up yesterday. I had went in planning to buy it for $24. The sticker still said $23.99! I walked out hurriedly feeling like I'd stolen something valuable. Only $22.60 CAD after taxes. How can Amazon.com sell it for $35.37 USD plus shipping costs?

Here's the conversation that I had afterwards with my unenlightened friend:
Me: I bought a DVD set today for only 20 bucks!
P: Why don't you just download it?
Me: I already did!
P: Then why did you buy it?!
Me: Because it's awesome.
P: You're crazy!
Me: The people who like this show are crazy.

Gos se! I really need to get my passport renewed. Either that or Detroit & Windsor need to get that 'family day pass' thing figured out soon.

As pointed out by Guy, Amazon pretty much has one of the more reasonable prices here abouts. Stores are all 'round the $35-$40 USD mark.
