Here is the artical from The Digital Bits.

"Millenium and Harsh realm will be out on DVD this year. The first season of millennium is some of the finest TV ever produced - in my humble opinion - and I'm glad we can finally bring it out on DVD".

"Space A&B might be out in the not too distant future"

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Millenium never really did anything for me. Never checked out Harsh Realm.

If they put out Space Above & Beyond, I am definitely buying it. It is years overdue! I loved that show. Yet another great that Fox killed before its time. Unfortunately they never recovered from the cancellation.

I wonder if the release to DVD has anything to do w/ how well Firefly has sold on DVD. Surely Fox must have gotten a whif of the money potential.

Shiny!

Harsh Real was incredible. Axing it after maybethree episodes and a bunch of preemptions was an absolute crime. Here is one series that got shafted worse than Firefly.

I saw all nine episodes of Harsh Realm when FX aired them. They were just getting somewhere interesting when it stopped.

Grrr....

I was there, son. I'm fair sure you
haven't shot anyone yet.

I must be one of the only people that actually LIKE Millenium. I've been wondering if they were going to release them on DVD. Thanks for the info!

What I really want to see is the terrific second season of 'Millennium'. But the first season is obviously a step in that direction, so hopefully it will sell well.

Millenium left me cold. It was well executed but I just didn't "get" it.

S:A&B was always oon at the wrong time, I don't know enough to know if I'd like it but I got a freind who'll rip me some copies to find out.

Harsh Relm? HR was masterful....REALLY well done. Not as good as Firefly of corse, partialy because it was deadly serious...but it was an intruiging story.

Now, if I can just get the old UPN series "Nowhere Man" I'd REALLY be happy.
THAT was a killer show.

Wouldn't mind having "Legend", either

"Why we still discussin' this?"

Yeah, the 7pm SUNDAY evening slot really did bite. It was ALWAYS delayed by NFL games. They did try a couple of different times slots (including the 8pm Friday slot), unfortunately they neglected to tell anyone about the changes. At least FOX gave it a full season (and story arc).

I loved SAAB!!!! Yes!!! This just made my day. They better gorram come out with SAAB DVDs. Another of the timeslots was 3AM in the morning on Tuesday or Wednesday. Talk about killing a show. That was a really dumb decision. And although Fox gave it a full season, the season/series finale was a cliffhanger!!!

Good News, it seems. Thanks for the info. I loved SAAB and have been hoping for a DVD set for a while now. Millenium was decent and I watched it quite a bit. Most of that was due to lack of anything better on, though. Never got a chance to see Harsh Realm, but I'll give it a look when I get my SAAB collection. Now if they'll only put out a Brimstone collection...

SAAB and Firefly... Does FOX have something against really good sci-fi series or something?

I wouldn't quite call the last episode of S:AAB a cliffhanger mainly because it resolved the main story arc (West and his girlfriend). The last scene was classy to me. Very bittersweet.

It did leave a few unanswered questions, now that I think about it. Dang it, I miss that show. Gorram FOX....

I wasn't a dedicated Millenium fan, but I did enjoy the episodes that I managed to catch.

According to a line West said at the end, the war was about to get really intense. Damn Fox. Space was only gonna get better.

I loved that show. It was refreshing to see a "space" show that took a more human approach to the storytelling. Of course, Firefly did the same thing. Anyway, I'd gladly buy Space on DVD to put alongside Firefly. I wanna see that episode with Coolio again. And I remember being blown away by that Chig super ship with Abandon All Hope written on the side. That was just so cool, I thought.

Oh and I loved the way that guy (it's been a long time, I don't remember his name) would order, "Get that thing outta my sky!"

Just looked up TC McQueen's name: it's James Morrison. OMG, the show ran in 1995. Nine years ago, folks. OMG (oops, just said that . . .)

All I know is that when the season finale aired I could not wait for the new season to see what happened to Wang as the troop carrier spun out of control with him firing away at Chigs. I wanted to know what happened to Vansen & Damphousse as they fell into the atmosphere. Sure it was great that West was reunited w/ his girlfriend, but the way it ended, it was obvious that they intended to show another season.

From what I read on the internet around the time Sci Fi started airing the first season, rumors had it that Fox had unaired episodes from season 2 they refused to air or release to Sci Fi Channel. Never had time to research or follow fan sites at the time to see what was being done.

If I'm remembering right, a Chig fighter rammed the cargo module and blew up. I'll have to break out my set and find out.

Yep, there isn't any doubt that Wang bought it in the last episode. A Chig fighter went one on one with him and got damaged then crashed into Wang's module with a pretty big explosion.

Oh, you had to tell me that didn't you?

I'm now compelled to spend the next few hours (or days) researching that. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Bittersweet is an understatement, I remember West was so distraught about his friends he could barely bring himself to look at her

Millenium was pretty good, but I really liked Harsh Realm.

Ok, SAAB on DVD I'll get. That show kicked serious ass It'll fit in nicely with my "Firefly" and "Stargate SG-1" DVD sets I never saw "Harsh Realm" I don't even have a clue what it's about. It was probably a great show, too. I imagine it must've been since Fox only keeps dreck and drivel in it's lineup for longer than a season...

"Millenium" never interested me, although I've been a Lance Henriksen fan for years

A "Space:Above & Beyond" DVD set would go alongside my Battlestar Galactica set. I haven't picked up the Firefly set yet. Three great shows that deserved a chance, but were cancelled due to network politics. The Firefly feature film is scheduled to begin production in May and Glen Larson has gotten the Battlestar movie rights back. He hopes to get a Battlestar feature film into theaters within two years. Now all we need is a Space:Above & Beyond feature film.

"They cancelled my friggin' show!" Joss Whedon after learning that WB cancelled Angel.

Oops, I'm a moron. Actually, when I IMDB.com-searched for "Harsh Realm", I saw that I had watched the program. Not that it was on that long or anything... It kind of explains why I forgot about it

They can have my "Firefly" DVDs when they pry them from my cold, dead fingers....
