I think it's safe to say that most Browncoats don't just watch TV lightly. We are not the kind to just flip on the tube & see what's on. We either have a set schedule, or we watch series on DVD or download. (or Tivo. thanks to the FUTUREMRSFILLION for reminding me of that one) So tonight thanks to netflix I will watch "Unleashed" from Angel Season 5.

So what is the next show you will watch?

Fastlane reruns that my lovely tivo is recording for me. I only saw a couple, being out of the country and all. Then Hex, also Tivo'd being back here and all. Then maybe some Roswell. I don't think there is anything that I watch on TV right now. Waiting for House to start up again.

Maybe some The Office reruns, if they are on tonight and I get home in time. I don't have cable and only get NBC, so my choices are limited.

If The Office isn't on, I might watch Serenity.

I have had to stop watching Serenity. It has become so familiar that it helps to lul me to sleep! And this must not happen! That happens with music too. I put on Aerosmith - Get your wings and I am out. It is almost as if my brain doesnt have to work beccause it has heard it so often so it just goes aaaaaaahhhhhh relax!

FMF- damn we really are the same person...Hex tonight!! Am getting anxious to see what's going on and can you believe how slick Azazeal is I thought he'd just talk the dr. into postponing the operation until she was too far along, but didn't see the C-section/repirator coming

Otherwise I can usually be found watching CSI, CSI:Miami, NCIS, Law and Order Criminal Intent, is anyone sensing a theme? I have a degree or so in criminal psychology that I don't get to use much as a teacher so I live my true first interest vicariously by criticising/enjoying these shows

I watched a lot of Law & Order during my broken arm stint. Have to say that Criminal Intent with Vincent D'Onofrio is my fav, but I'm kinda burnt out on it all.

FMF: You mentioned Roswell. I thought I was the only adult on the face of the earth that liked Roswell.

The other day I was thinking how I'm not really a Sci-fi fan but more a Whedonite. And then I thought about the series I own on DVD: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, The X-Files and Roswell. I think I blew my own cover.

In between Buffy eps on Netflix ( yikes! -withdrawal!) so it's gonna be BSG the first season after the miniseries.

I haven't caught up on it yet and want to and then watch Season 2 and then the next part that comes out in September.

Brisco is out next Tuesday? Oh, my... I have to see those too!

As for real live -on everyday tv.. only Buffy early in the morning on FX. Nothing else currently, although I will be tuning into the new Stargates - both of them after the shiny Firefly marathon on Friday on SciFi.

I guess I should add. I'm alternating between Angel Season 5
Tru Calling
Samurai Champloo

and I was watching Battle of the Planets, till I realized how lame they were & how clueless I was as a child, ( die 7 Zark 7 )so I used the special features & watched the original Japanese Gatchaman Series with subtitles & a story line that actually made sense.

There definitely ain't nothing on tonight so it will probably be a Netflix movie tonight.

Tomorrow on the other hand my TV will be busy with the Firefly marathon, Stargate, and Psych all on.

So is Brisco worth the $70 Amazon price?

Also, I've looked at Tru Calling but couldn't decide if I would like it. Any thoughts?

Project Runway! That's the only reality competition show I watch -- I find it fascinatingly campy, amazing, ridiculous, and riveting at various times.

Been thinking about watching Psych but beyond that it's Law and Order reruns mostly.

Now, now...is lusting over an actor in a series enough reason to watch??

*wanders off thinking about Inara, Kaylee, River, and Zoe...*

MSG, might I recommend Davinci's Inquest, which is currently being syndicated on WGN. IMHO, hands down the best procedural ever!

As for me, I haven't given up on Stargate and Atlantis yet...

RugBug: As to Tru Calling, there are threads in the archives on it. I thought it started slow but got good near the end of the first season (when Jason Priestly joined), and became really good during the short-lived second season. That's when Jane Espenson joined the creative team.

I just finished rewatching BSG 2.1, so tonight I'll be catching up on Stephen King's Nightmares and Dreamscapes on TIVO.

Morbid and creepifying I got no problem with, so long as you do it quiet like.

I'll probably watch a Star Trek movie. Or maybe CNN. There's nothing on during the summer.

My favorite shows right now are House and 24 and Prison Break (although that less-so than the other two). I LOVED Invasion. But it got cancelled (ABC's as stupid as FOX).

Who else loved Invasion? It seems like the kind of thing Browncoats would watch. Really awesome SF show.

And this fall i'll probably watch Heroes and next Tuesday i'm watching Eureka. And Friday i'm watching Firefly all day and then the Stargates that night.

That's a long enough list.
