1 more reason to but Firefly from Itunes

I have the DVD and the Ipod Versions and while the DVD verson doesn't have the Mal and Book intros that first aired in Sci Fi (you know "The Earth got used up") but on the ipod verson does have both the Book and Mal versions.

The episode that have the Shepard Book version are The Train Job, Bushwacked, Our Mrs. Reynolds and Jaynestown (4 eps).

The Mal verson are on Shindig, Safe, Out Of Gas, Ariel, War Stories and Heart Of Gold (6 Eps).

Serenity starts like on the DVD and Trash, Objects In Space and The Message all start with Previously on Firefly (4 eps).

So that's another reason to buy them from Itunes.

$25.99 for the series, $1.99 per ep. But that's only in the US. The series is only 3.06 Gig so it will fit on a DVD if Itunes will allow the Eps to be burned on a disc. I think there is a big rush to order the eps all on the same day for fans of the show. so you might want to look into that before you buy, I kinda wish I had known.

I burned mine to a DVD (good to have a back up, So now I have orignal DVD's and the back up of those I made and the Ipod Verson and it's back up. Not to mention the 5 copies of Serenity, the orignal, the UMD, the gift one, the second copy because my sister had the orignal too long and the new Full Frame version. I've never done anything like this before.) So for the fans out side the US their is a way to get a copy now.

You will need to create and ask a US Browncoat to for a bit of help. That Acccount will be needed for the person to buy the Series and then the same account will be used to play the eps but I the eps might be region coded. I don't really know. So i think you should be careful when doing this and the more I think about it the less likely I think it will work.
