All right this has more than likely been discussed more than once, but as I just found this place I have to ask...
...has anybody ever noted that Jayne is in love with Kaylee, which is more than likely his primary reason for hating the doctor so utterly (besides the obvious personality and social standing issues). Just wondered if anyone else picked up on this.

I noticed it. But it could be also brotherly love too. If my sister was getting all head over heels over some guy, I'll end up hating him.
We'll never know unless the show ever continues.
