SPRADLINB

This is the first time I've visited this site, so first of all, "hi!"

Second of all, the reason I'm now visiting is to do a bit of shameless showing-off ;) I'm a customizer of a small toyline called Stikfas, and recently they released an off-shoot toyline called Cuboyds, which are just over 2 inch tall articulated plastic figures (cuboyds.com). Well, I'm heading to SDCC this year and decided to make a run of 10 Cuboyd customs to bring along with me, and Malcolm Reynolds was one of my character choices:

http://www.brianspradlin.com/stikfas/cuboyds/Firecube.php

A friend suggested I post this to some Firefly/Serenity fans, so there you go! You can see the other 8 (number nine will be posted tonight) customs from the drop-down list on that page too, if you're interested.

Cheers.

Especially the trolls.

Those are really great. They remind me of the little Lego men I used to play with when I was a kid (and sometimes even now). I hope you sell a bunch.

FollowMal should be along shortly with your browncoat, and FloralBunny will offer up some strawberries and Mudder's Milk. Welcome home!

Very shiny! Even got the expression down-pat!

Welcome to the 'verse, and thank you for sharing! Will these be available for purchase, or is this a labor of love?

So cute, but like the others said, do stick around Post the pictures in the Blue Sun Room, they may get more attention there.

Thanks for all the friendly feedback already! I'm glad it's going over well. No plans for producing more, so it's just a one-shot labor of love. If anyone is hitting SDCC this week/weekend though, it should be on display for a closer look at the Saizon booth.

Cheers.

Welcome home, spradlinb!
The little Mal is a cutie.
Even got the crookedy face.

As advertised, here's your bowl
of berries and a mug of Mudder's.

Bring your toys on up to the galley
and join the crowd around the buffet.
There's some great food, drink and
company there.

Please don't step on the ShipsCat
or into her dish.

Yes, Welcome and thanks for sharing - I was going to suggest you send one to Nathan as I'm sure he'd LOVE it (I would if I were him!) But as it's a one off... never mind!!

Floral Bunny... I didn't notice the cat, but I think I might have stepped in her bowl the other evenin'... just thought it was something Jayne had left lyin' around is all! Sorry to the cat... does she have a problem with the beagles?

Mwaaah! - Magdalena x x x

Oh, Nathan loves his little
action figures. Excellent photos
here and there on the Net of him
with the little wigglies. Would
be a very shiny gift.

Might have been the night Jayne put
down the gefilte fish. Not sure she
likes that, anyway.

Seems to be no problem with the beagles,
but permaybehaps she'll show up to tell
us about it. Check out a LOS thread...

Hi Bun! - Thank you - I did wonder why, if there was a cat on board it hadn't eated the contents of it's bowl... but then again, cats are fussier than Jayne when it comes to food!

I have not had the courage to venture onto the LOS threads before - just lurked occassionally and wondered where this all started - but 'Wolf' has put all the archived threads together so I will dedicate myself to learning, and maybe one day you'll see me on board!!

Thank you again!! - Love - Magdalena x x

Sereni-Tree is another good
longtime RP thread.
I spend little time on these
(or any high-volume or high-graphics
threads, such as Forsaken or Faces)
because my equipment and my dialup
connection are so slow, but they are
fun and the folks are fun even when
the bullets are whizzing past your
ears.

Thank you so much Bun!

I love this 'verse - the people are so friendly and there isn't any 'clickiness' amongst those who are well established! I am having a ball making new friends here! Look forward to seeing you again soon!
